NDIS Physiotherapy:
Supporting Independence, Mobility and Everyday Function

What Is NDIS Physiotherapy?

NDIS physiotherapy refers to physiotherapy services delivered to eligible NDIS participants as part of their funded support plan. Physio Inq is a registered NDIS provider, supporting participants who are self-managed, plan-managed or agency-managed across Australia.

Physiotherapy under the NDIS focuses on building and maintaining physical function, improving mobility and independence, and supporting participants to achieve the goals outlined in their plan. Our NDIS physiotherapists are AHPRA-registered clinicians with experience supporting people living with a wide range of disability types, including neurological conditions, physical disability, acquired brain injury, intellectual disability and complex health needs.

Our NDIS physiotherapy services include

  • Functional capacity assessments to support NDIS planning and plan reviews
  • Mobility and independence programs tailored to NDIS goals
  • Strength, balance and exercise programs for daily function
  • Equipment prescription and home modification recommendations
  • Neurological rehabilitation, including stroke, Parkinson's and MS
  • Paediatric physiotherapy for children with disability
  • Pain management and fatigue support
  • Support for safe movement, transfers and positioning
  • Goal-based programs aligned to Capacity Building supports

All treatment plans are developed in collaboration with the participant, their support coordinator, family or carer, and other allied health professionals involved in their care.

How We Deliver NDIS Physiotherapy

Physio Inq delivers NDIS physiotherapy across three service channels, ensuring participants can access support regardless of location or mobility.

In Your Home

Home-based NDIS physiotherapy allows sessions to take place where participants spend most of their time, so therapy is immediately applicable to real-life tasks and routines.

Our physiotherapists bring all necessary equipment to each session and coordinate directly with support workers, carers and family members to ensure continuity of care.

In Your Community

For participants whose NDIS goals include community participation, we deliver physiotherapy in schools, supported accommodation, community centres, gyms and workplaces.

This connects therapy directly to the environments where participants live, learn and engage, rather than practising skills in isolation from them.

Online (Telehealth)

Telehealth physiotherapy is available for participants who prefer remote sessions, live in regional or rural areas, or benefit from regular check-ins between in-person visits.

It can be funded under the same NDIS supports as in-person services, making it a practical option alongside home or community delivery.
