NDIS Occupational Therapy

Move better, live better - Let our Occupational Therapists support you through your daily activities and help build your capacity so you can be more independent TODAY.

At Physio Inq, our NDIS Occupational Therapists help people living with disability live a life with less limits. We support NDIS participants of all ages to improve their independence, wellbeing, and participation in everyday life, whether at home, school, work or in the community.

Our qualified clinicians come to you, wherever you feel most comfortable. We offer in-home, community and telehealth appointments across Australia, helping you feel stronger, move better and think clearer through practical, goal-focused therapy.

How NDIS Occupational Therapy Helps

Occupational therapy under the NDIS focuses on building skills and confidence so you can take part in the activities that matter most to you. Our OTs work closely with participants, carers and support teams to deliver tailored programs that support independence and daily function.

Through NDIS-funded therapy, you can:

  • Build everyday skills such as self-care, cooking, managing routines and social activities.
  • Improve mobility and coordination to move safely and confidently in your environment.
  • Support positive behaviour with strategies that encourage participation and emotional regulation.
  • Access adaptive equipment or home modifications that make your space safer and more accessible.
  • Increase independence at home, at work or in the community.

Every plan is person-centred, evidence-based and designed around your goals, not a generic checklist.

What Our Occupational Therapists Do

Your Physio Inq Occupational Therapist will assess how your condition or environment affects your daily activities, then create a practical plan to help you live more independently.

Our process typically includes:

  1. Comprehensive assessment – understanding your goals, challenges and NDIS plan.
  2. Collaborative planning – setting meaningful outcomes that align with your NDIS funding categories.
  3. Therapy sessions – delivered in your home, community setting or via telehealth.
  4. Progress review – tracking achievements and updating reports for your NDIS plan reviews.

We also assist with:

  • Functional capacity assessments for NDIS reporting
  • Assistive technology recommendations
  • Home modification assessments
  • Sensory and behavioural support strategies
  • Paediatric OT for children’s development and school readiness

In-Home and Telehealth Convenience

At Physio Inq, we come to you.

Our mobile occupational therapists visit you in your home, workplace, school or local community setting. This makes therapy more practical and meaningful because it happens where you live and learn.

Prefer virtual appointments? Our telehealth occupational therapy sessions are available nationally and are ideal for remote or regional participants, or anyone wanting the flexibility of online care.

Occupational Therapy for Children (Paediatric Occupational Therapy)

Our paediatric OTs help children build confidence, independence and developmental skills to thrive in everyday life.

We support children and families with:

  • Fine and gross motor skill development
  • Sensory processing challenges
  • Emotional regulation and social participation
  • School readiness and classroom skills
  • Behavioural and routine support strategies

Therapy is playful, positive and evidence-based, with parents and carers supported every step of the way.

  • Home modification and assistive technology assessments

We partner with you, your carers and your wider support network to help you achieve your goals at your own pace.
